On 8 December, farmers protesting against the agriculture law of the central government have announced a Bharat Bandh.  Opposition parties have supported it.  Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has clearly said that strict action will be taken against those who have been shut down in Gujarat.
He also targeted the opposition and said that the Bharat Bandh agitation is being done in the name of farmers.  There is only the name of the farmer in it, but to save his own existence, the opposing side is becoming one.
He further said that the peasant leaders in the Kisan movement had said that they would not add any political party.  The Congress has ceased to exist. There is no people nor any organization with Congress, they wrote in the 2019 election letter that they will be abolishing the Mandi Act.  Earlier in the election letter it was said that the MSP will be removed.
He further said that strict action will be taken against those who go out to forcefully stop Gujarat.  Also, the government will take all steps to maintain law and order system.  For information, let us know that five rounds of talks have been held between the Central Government and the farmers.  After December, there is no result of any kind.  However, even before this conversation, farmers had declared a Bharat Bandh on 8 December.
