The LDA has sent a proposal to the Housing Department for this. The authority has assessed the total expenditure of Rs 2087 crore on the project. According to the proposal, a two-lane corridor will be built between the greenery on the left and right banks of Gomti. Footpath will also be built to walk on both sides of the roads. This road will be built from IIM, Sitapur-Hardoi bypass to aqueduct near Kisan Path. A proposal has been sent for this. The Green Corridor is proposed in such a way that it will be able to go directly to Pipraghat via 1090 intersection. The length of the entire route will be around 20 km, which the LDA will prepare in five parts. A proposal to construct a bond road of Rs 270 crore has already been approved from the project. LDA and Irrigation Department have also constructed it in some parts. Basantkunj Yojana, IIM, Gomtinagar Extension, Bandha Road near Shalimar One World has been built in some part.
