Authorities in Gwalior have initiated an investigation after a dead frog was reportedly discovered in the midday meal, provided to students at a government primary school in the Gokulpur area. The issue came to light when a video showing the frog inside a meal container spread across social media, prompting swift administrative response.

District Collector Ruchika Chauhan, ordered an immediate probe on Tuesday, following the circulation of the video. According to District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Sojan Singh Rawat, an inspection team has visited the school and further steps will be taken if any negligence is identified during the inquiry.
