Five died, five injured in road accident on Mumbai-Pune Expressway

Five people were died and five injured in a road accident on the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway. The road accident occurred late night on the Mumbai-Pune Express Highway near Khopoli area. All the five injured in the accident have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. According to a report, the collision occurred after a high speed truck driver lost control of his vehicle. It was told that the vehicle first hit the tempo, which overturned and got stuck in a pit dug between the two lanes. The truck later hit two other cars. Those killed include three women and truck drivers from two different vehicles. Soon after the accident, the ambulance, highway team and police reached the spot. The bodies of the dead have been sent to Khopoli Rural Hospital and the injured have been taken to Mumbai.
