On Monday, Mizo Zirlai Pawl , a student body of Mizoram, filed an FIR at Vairengte police station in Mizoram against Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and six others in connection with the border flare-up.
As many as 200 unidentified Assam Police personnel have also booked. Among the charges against Himanta and others are IPC sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 120B (criminal conspiracy) .
On Friday, Meanwhile, the MLAs of three Barak Valley districts of Assam decided to move court against the SP of Mizoram’s Kolasib districts for his alleged role in the clash between police forces of the two states.
An all-party meeting of MLAs of Cachar Karimganj and Hailakandi was held at Silchar and it was decided that action should also be taken against Mizoram’s lone Rajya Sabha MP K Vanlalvena for his statements outside parliament.
