China has increased its defense budget amid tensions with India and the US. Dragon has increased the defense budget to 6.8 percent for the year 2021. With this, his official defense budget has now reached 209 billion dollars. The budget increase was announced by China’s Prime Minister Li Keqiang in the country’s parliament, the National People’s Congress (NPC). Let us know that China has taken this step at a time when the whole world is struggling with the corona epidemic. Even in this crisis, he is showing greatness from LAC to South China Sea. Defending the increase in the defense budget, NPC spokesman Zhang Yesui told the media here that China’s efforts are to strengthen national defense. There is no country to target or threaten. A country poses a threat to others, depending on what kind of defense policy it adopts. He said that China is committed to the path of peaceful development and follows a defensive defense policy in nature. Last year, China allocated 1.268 trillion yuan (about US $ 196.44 billion) according to the Global Times. According to the report of Xinhua, China’s annual defense budget recorded an increase for the sixth consecutive year. This year’s planned defense spending will be around 1.35 trillion yuan (about 209 billion US dollars). As the world’s second-largest economy and most populous country, China’s per capita defense spending in 2021 will be less than 1,000 yuan (154 US dollars). China’s defense budget is about a quarter of the US defense budget, which is US $ 740.5 billion for the 2021 fiscal year.
