Targeting the agriculture minister, Digvijay Singh said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has engaged two ministers to talk with the farmers. Narendra Singh Tomar, who does not have farming, what would the farmers know? The other is Piyush Goyal who is a spokesperson for the corporate sector. Both ministers are inexperienced with farming and how can they satisfy the farmers on the agricultural law.
The Minister of Agriculture had targeted the Congress in the Rajya Sabha and said that it can do agriculture with blood. Replying to this, Digvijay Singh has said that BJP always wants to have riots. Opposing the agricultural laws, he said that farming with blood was not the history of Congress. What happened in Godhra was water farming or blood farming. BJP has always been doing politics of hate and violence. At the same time, the Congress has continued on the path of truth and non-violence.
The Congress is constantly besieging the central government regarding agricultural legislation. The party has given its support to the farmers’ movement. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi is accusing Prime Minister Modi of being anti-farmer.
