Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s government has offered to render several special facilities to the major corporations of the US, which includes, FedEx, UPS, Cisco, Adobe, Lockheed Martin, Honeywell, Boston Scientific, and others if they shift their production and bases from China to Uttar Pradesh in India.
The UP government came up with the proposal, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to the states to use the current situation to attract global companies that want to exit China.
After the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the UP government held a video conference with nearly 100 investors and companies from the US, as per the reportsof The Indian Express.
