India on Wednesday reported 62,224 new Covid-19 cases.
India reports 2,542 deaths in the last 24 hours.

As per the Union health ministry, India’s recovery rate has increased to 95.80 percent while weekly positivity rate has dropped to less than 5 percent and is currently at 4.17 per cent.
Meanwhile, the daily positivity rate is 3.22 percent, less than 5 per cent for the 9th consecutive day.
The overall global Covid-19 caseload has topped 176.5 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 3.81 million, according to Johns Hopkins University.
