Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu lead outbreak, 315 new cases on Tuesday as total crosses 1600
In a massive spurt in fresh cases led by 82 in Maharashtra and 57 in Tamil Nadu, 315 new cases of corona virus were reported in the country on Tuesday. The figure is nearly twice of the total recorded cases the previous day. Galloping the total number of corona virus cases in India to 1618, the highest so far.
Along with raising the total number of deaths by the virus to 52 with an add up of nine casualties recorded yesterday.
626 new cases have been reported in last three days, which are accounting to 40 percent of the total number of cases till the date.
Delhi has emerged as one of the worst affected states, with at least two major spots Nizamuddin and Dilshad Garden area confirmed 23 new cases taking the toll to 120 and this does not includes any fresh from the Nizamuddin mosque as the reports are awaited.
