People under the age of 45 would not be able to receive covaxin from tomorrow. The government said that the vaccine is now left in a limited stock for only four days and hence requested the Central government for the supplies. They also said that the stocks of the other vaccine like Covishield would last only for 9 days.

With the hit of the second wave of Covid, Delhi has faced a strong rise in the cases which has created a panic situation for the people. More and more people are coming forward to take the vaccine and it is necessary as well. The National capital recorded 13,287 active corona cases and approximately 300 deaths on Wednesday. India is in deep crisis as in this pandemic the drugs are even being short. Hence the vaccine needs to be produced at a large rate to ensure uninterrupted vaccination of the large population of the people.
