Vasundhara Raje and her son went in for self- isolation on Friday after Kanika Kapoor came out positive with Corona Virus, whom they had met at a party in Lucknow.
Vasundhara Raje Former Rajasthan Chief Minister, who attended a party with singer Kanika Kapoor in Lucknow, has tested negative for coronavirus. Vasundhara Raje on Friday went in self-isolation and her son after Kanika Kapoor, they had met in Lucknow, was found to be positive for Covid-19.
Her son MP Dushyant Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party , who too, had attended the party in Lucknow, has also come negative for Covid-19. Both the leaders had gone into self-isolation after Kanika Kapoor tested positive for coronavirus.
“As a matter of abundant caution, my son and I have immediately self-quarantined and we’re taking all necessary precautions,” Vasundhara Raje tweeted.
singer Knika Kapoor’s announcement that she has tested positive for Covid-19, set off a chain reaction along with other political leaders like TMC MP Derek O’Brien and Apna Dal MP Anupriya Patel going into self-quarantine as a preventive measure.
TMC MP Derek O’Brien, who sat next to Dushyant Singh at a Standing Committee meeting, isolated himself on Friday following the BJP MP’s announcement on Friday that he was self-isolating himself after attending the party.
Apna Dal MP Anupriya Patel, too, went in isolation after claiming to have come into contact with Dushyant Singh in an event on Thursday. In a tweet, Anupriya Patel said she is going under isolation.
Uttar Pradesh health minister also put himself under home isolation after, he said, he came to know about singer Kanika Kapoor being tested positive for coronavirus. He had met Kanika Kapoor at the Lucknow party.
