Congress party postponed its president election process for the third time in view of Covid-19 situation in India

The election for the post of Congress president has been again postponed due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation the Congress Working Committee (CWC) stated on Monday.

“The CWC unanimously decided to postpone the election of Congress president till the Covid situation in the country improves,” a top leader told news agency PTI.

The Congress working committee has postponed the election for the Congress president for the third time now due to the pandamic situations prevalent

The party’s top deciding body, which met today, was discussing over holding the long-awaited internal polls on 23 June.
