The Sagar Dhankar murder case had a new development when Rohit Karor, a close assistant of Sushil Kumar, was arrested by the Delhi Police.
Two-time Olympic medallist Sushil Kumar, and his associates, had physically assaulted Sagar Dhankar, a fellow wrestler, on May 4 at Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium. Sagar died a day later succumbing to his injuries.
Police had earlier arrested 4 people who were also members of Kala Asauda and Neeraj Bawana gang. Police said that the wrestler is not providing full cooperation to the ongoing probe.
Sushil Kumar and Ajay Kumar, another accused in the case, were nabbed on a two-wheeler from Mundka area by the Delhi Police on Sunday earlier this week.
