A political crisis has arisen in Puducherry a few months before the upcoming assembly elections. After the resignation of four MLAs, including two ministers, the Congress-led Narayanaswamy government has come into a minority. The opposition is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Narayanaswamy. On the other hand, after being removed from the post of Governor of Puducherry, on Wednesday morning, Dr. Kiran Bedi tweeted and thanked. Amid this political upheaval, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Puducherry today. During this, he will also address a rally.

Shortly before this, she gave a very positive message in a tweet. Kiran Bedi tweeted the cover page of her diary, on which the message was written – “Kind hearted, brilliant mind and brave soul”.

Even before Rahul Gandhi reached Puducherry, his party suffered a major setback. Legislative A John Kumar, considered close to Chief Minister V Narayanasamy, has resigned, leading to a constitutional crisis in Puducherry. After the resignation of four MLAs, including John, the strength of the Congress in the 33-member Assembly is reduced to 10, including the Speaker.
The DMK, an ally involved in the government along with the Congress, has three members. While the government also has the support of an independent MLA. The opposition has 14 MLAs, that is, the number of government and opposition MLAs has now become equal. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will try to get his party out of trouble during his visit to Puducherry.
