Roshan Jacob took charge of Lucknow District Magistrate

Corona is wreaking havoc in UP.  On Saturday, the state DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi also got corona infected.  After this, he has isolated himself.  
At the same time, IAS officer Roshan Jacob has taken charge of District Magistrate Lucknow after Lucknow District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash got infected. 

 He is serving the post of Secretary, Ghost Mining and Director.  Apart from this, he is also handling the responsibility of Inspector General of Stamp Registration.  IAS Jacob is a 2004 batch secretary level officer.

 Apart from this, Alok Kumar, Secretary to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also been hit by Corona.  After coming positive he has been sent to home isolation.

 Let us know that 27,426 corona infected have been found in UP on Friday.  At the same time, a record 6598 new patients have been found in Lucknow. 
 In view of this, a 35-hour curfew has been imposed in the state from eight o’clock on Saturday night.  During this period, the fire department will conduct sanitation and fogging in all the districts by carrying out a special campaign for cleanliness and hygiene.  

Not only this, till the next order, there will now be a weekly ban on every Sunday in the entire state.  The districts where curfew has been imposed will continue.

 Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to take strict action against those who do not wear masks in a virtual meeting with Team-11 on Friday.  

For the first time, a fine of one thousand rupees will be levied on exiting without a mask.  For the second time, you will have to pay 10 times more fine.  Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi has issued orders in this regard.  

Not only this, 100 percent people will have to make sure to wear masks and follow social distancing.  At the local level it will be the responsibility of the Thanedars.  At the same time, senior police officers and administrative officers will conduct a checking operation for this.
