Corona infection has become uncontrollable in the country. The number of new cases is breaking records every day. Every day, the highest number of cases in the world are coming to India. For the fourth time, more than one lakh corona cases have come in the country.
According to the latest report of the Ministry of Health, In the last 24 hours, 131,968 new Corona cases have come and 780 people have lost their lives. However, 61,899 people have also recovered from Corona. From April 4 to 7, than one lakh cases were received.
The campaign to get Corona vaccine started in the country on 16 January. By April 8, 9 crore 43 lakh 34 thousand 262 corona doses have been given across the country. There were 36 lakh 91 thousand 511 vaccines last day. The campaign to give the second dose of vaccine started on 13 February. From April 1, all people above 45 years of age are being vaccinated.
The death rate of corona in the country is 1.29 per cent while the recovery rate is around 92 per cent. The active case has increased to about 7 percent. India ranks 4th in the world in Corona Active Case.
AIIMS Chief Dr. Randeep Guleria said, there are many reasons for the rise of Corona case.First reason is , cases were reduced and the vaccine was made people thought that the covid is over now, no need to apply mask, no need for social distancing. They started doing parties. But the virus had not gone anywhere, the virus was right here. Meanwhile, many new variants have also come in the world. Because of this, cases started growing completely. I believe our reason is easing.
Dr. Guleria further said, ‘Even in the trial, the effect of the vaccine was only on 70-80 percent people. Meaning 20 to 30 percent of the people will not be protected by the vaccine. Along with the vaccine, caution is very important.
