Farmers’ organizations are now in the mood for a long fight against the Modi government regarding the new agricultural laws. In the meantime, there should be no untoward incident at the agitating organizations and all suspicious people can be monitored. We are going to set up a security mechanism for this. In addition to hundreds of volunteers, more than 100 CCTV cameras and more than 10 LCD screens are being installed. A monitoring room has also been set up at the back of the stage to monitor the Singhu Border Demonstration venue. Farmer leaders told Amar Ujala that a team of young volunteers has been formed in view of the safety of farmers and common people at the protest site. It consists of about 800 people. These people are working in three shifts. The duty of some people has been imposed in the morning, some in the afternoon and some in the night. These people guard the protest venue, as well as interrogate strangers and seek their information by asking for identity cards. Apart from this, these people are also taking care of the common people having no problem. They have been given green jackets and identity cards to identify volunteers at the venue.100 CCTV cameras are being installed by farmer organizations to monitor anti-social elements on display at Singhu Border. These cameras will be installed around the stage, in large batches besides entry and exit gate, langar, medical camp. A control room has been set up at the back of the main stage to watch the footage of all the cameras and monitor the movements everywhere. From time to time, big farmer leaders also sit here and monitor the protest venue. Farmer leaders said that young farmers have brought all the goods to install the camera from Punjab. Apart from this, some NGOs are supporting this work. A team of IT experts is engaged in putting it up. Farmers’ organizations are preparing to install LCD screens at important places of the border. Through this, farmers will be able to see the activities of every place and can also listen to the speeches of the leaders on the stage. In view of the increasing heat, these screens will be installed in large batches so that the farmers can sit and listen to the speeches of the leaders.
