On Saturday, the topic of awarding Bharat Ratna to renowned industrialist Ratan Tata was suddenly trending. A sort of campaign has started on social media to give him this honor. However, Ratan Tata has forbidden everyone to do so. They say that do not run such a campaign. Let us know what Bharat Ratna is and to whom it is given. When did it originate and who was given the first Bharat Ratna?Bharat Ratna was started on 2 January 1954 by the then President Dr. Rajendra Prasad. In 1954, the Bharat Ratna was first given to C. Rajagopalachari, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and CV Raman. At that time only the living person was given this honor. Posthumously in 1955, the provision of honoring was also added. For the first time in 2013, it was decided to give Bharat Ratna to those who earned a name in the field of sports and in this episode, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar was selected for this honor. Scientist C.N.R. with Sachin Tendulkar in 2013 Rao was also awarded the Bharat Ratna. Bharat Ratna recipients receive a certificate and a medal from the Government of India. No money is paid with this honor. Various government departments provide facilities to the recipients. The President is recommended to be given the Bharat Ratna by the Prime Minister. No formal recommendation is required for this. Bharat Ratna recipients are invited to important government programs. The Bharat Ratna honored celebrities give them a place in the Warrant of Presidency. The Warrant of Presidency is used to give priority to government programs. Bharat Ratna winners are named after the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Governor, Former President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chief Justice, Lok Sabha Speaker, Cabinet Minister, Chief Minister, former Prime Minister and Leader of Opposition in both houses of Parliament in the Protocol.
