Against the backdrop of the commencement of vaccination campaign against Corona virus in the country, senior Congress leader Manish Tiwari again questioned the process of approving the use of vaccines. The Congress leader said that if the Covid vaccine is safe as it is being claimed, then why was no minister in the Modi government first employed.
Manish Tiwari, raising questions, claimed on Saturday that there was no policy framework to allow emergency use of vaccines. He tweeted, “Vaccination has begun and it is strange that India has no policy framework to authorize emergency use.” Nevertheless, controlled use of two vaccines was allowed in an emergency.
The former Union Minister said that the covaxine has a different story. It was allowed without due process. Manish Tiwari targeted Prime Minister Modi. He said that Prime Minister Modi is claiming that the Covid vaccine is safe and effective, then he should explain why no minister of the Modi government was the first person to be vaccinated?
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched the world’s largest vaccination campaign against Covid-19. A total of 3006 vaccination centers have been set up in all states and union territories for the first phase. On the first day, more than three lakh health workers will be given the dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
