Rajasthan ATS Detains Five Individuals for Questioning Over Suspicious Activities

Jaipur | The Rajasthan Anti-Terrorism Squad detained five individuals from different parts of the state after developing suspicions about their recent activities. Officials reported that the detentions were made early Friday morning following coordinated operations in multiple districts

Coordinated Raids and Ongoing Investigation

Police stated that the ATS had been monitoring several persons of interest over a period of time. Based on fresh intelligence inputs and surveillance reports indicating unusual behavior, the squad launched simultaneous raids across different regions in the early hours. The detained individuals were identified as Usama Umar from Barmer, Masood from Jodhpur, Mohammad Ayub from Pipad in Jodhpur, Mohammad Junaid from Karauli, and Basir from Barmer

Officials’ Statement

Inspector General of ATS, Vikas Kumar, confirmed that the activities of the detained men appeared suspicious. They have been moved to the ATS headquarters in Jaipur for further interrogation. Authorities are now verifying the nature of their communications and any possible links to larger networks
