The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced that date sheets for term 1 board exams for Class 10 and Class 12 students will be distributed on October 18. Exams will be held in November and December of 2021. According to the board, this will be an objective-type exam with each exam lasting 90 minutes.
The board has also decided to divide subjects in Class 10 and Class 12 into two groups — minor and major subjects – to prevent students from losing their learning. For 189 papers, CBSE board exams are held. It will take 40-45 days to finish exams for all subjects in Class 10 and Class 12 if the board conducts them all at once, according to the board. Minor topic board exams will be held initially, followed by major subject board exams.
