In the last 24 hours India has registered 60,471 fresh cases of Covid-19 along with 2726 deaths as per the Union ministry of health and family welfare (MoHFW)’s report till today morning. The data showed the national tally of coronavirus cases has risen to 29,570,881, including a related death toll of 377,031.
This is the eighth day in a row that India has less than 100,000 fresh infections in the last 14 hours. The Union Health Ministry reported that on June 8, India had 87,498 new cases in a single day which means for the first time since early April, or 66 days, the country’s accumulative positive cases have risen by less than 100,000. The numbers of recoveries are 28,280,472 among which 117,525 discharges, with the recovery rate, further improving to 95.63%.
