Two security personnel and 2 civilians of Kashmir reportedly died in a terrorist attack in north Kashmir’s Sopore today. The official report stated that three other people including a policeman were injured in the attack.
Sources informed that the terrorists opened fire targeting security in the Sopore town of Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. They fired at the joint party of the CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) and the police nearby Main Chowk Sopore at about 12 PM. PTI reported that the injured were taken to the nearby hospital and the injured policeman were rushed to the Indian Army’s 92 Base Hospital. The area of attack has been cordoned off by security personnel and further details are awaited
