Four rockets were fired from Lebanon at Israel on Wednesday, 19th May. Although it was not immediately clear as to who did that, security sources from Lebanon confirmed that four rockets had been fired towards Israel from a village near the Southern Coastal Lebanese city of Tyre.
In response to this, the Israeli Defence Forces artillery forces have striked a number of targets in Lebanon. The Israeli military also confirmed that they had intercepted one of the rockets while the rest most likely fell in open areas. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage on either sides of the border.
Israeli military spokesperson, Hidai Zilberman said on Tuesday that the Israeli Military believed a small Palestinian faction was responsible for the attack. They also told that the Hezbollah terrorist group which has influence in Southern Lebanon and across to advanced rockets is not responsible.
4 rockets were just fired from Lebanon at northern Israel, 1 of which was intercepted by the Iron Dome.
In response, IDF artillery forces are striking a number of targets in Lebanon.
