Alma Andrea Meza Carmano is a software engineer, Mexican Model, and a Beauty Pageant Titleholder. Andrea was also crowned Mexican Universal 2020, Miss Mexico 2017 and was the first runner-up in Miss World 2017. She is also Chihuahua Tourism Ambassador. She is the third Mexican to have won the title of Miss Universe.
The question she was asked during the question-answer round was “If you were the leader of your country, how would you have handled Covid-19 Pandemic?” To which, she answered saying there is no perfect way to handle such a hard situation but she would have announced a lockdown before things got so bad since so many lives were lost and such a thing cannot be afforded.

The Miss Universe finale was held in Florida, the US on Monday. Brazil’s Julia Gama and Peru’s Janick Maceta were crowned first and second runner up respectively. The third runner-up was India represented by Adeline Quadros Castelino.
