										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A shocking incident took place in a village in near Kanpur where a man killed his teenage daughter and her lover to death The incident took place on a late Friday night and was reported to the media by the police on Saturday.</p>
<p>One of the officers Pawan Gautam said that the police have arrested the acussed father and a truck driver. He added that they have also recovered the axe which was used to slash the teenagers to death.</p>
<p>Mr. Gautam said that the 16-year-old girl had an affair with a 15-year-old boy of the same village. The girl had invited the boy into her house when her parents were gone to attend a wedding in Banda district. The couple was caught by the girl&#8217;s uncle who locked them inside the house and informed his brother about the incident on phone.</p>
<p>After hearing about the incident, the girl&#8217;s father returned home and slashed his daughter and her lover to death.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Multiple bodies were found buried in sand in at least two locations along the Ganga river in Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao district on Wednesday, NDTV reported. The incident came days after bodies of suspected Covid-19 patients were spotted floating in Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and other parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh.</p>
<p>Authorities have not been able to confirm yet whether the bodies were of Covid-19 patients. District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar said that some of the bodies were found in an area far away from the river, ANI reported.</p>
<p>“Search being conducted for more bodies in other areas,” Kumar said. “I have asked team to carry out inquiry. Action will be taken accordingly.”</p>
<p>Kumar added that Buksar, one of the spots where bodies were found, is a major cremation spot for three districts of Fatehpur, Rai Bareily and Unnao, India Today reported. He said that while some people burn the bodies, others bury them in the sand by the river.</p>
<p>The incident follows a pattern that has occurred over the last few days.</p>
<p>On Tuesday, unidentified bodies, suspected to be of coronavirus patients, were found floating in river Ganga in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur district. Locals feared the corpses will contaminate the water and lead to the spread of the infection. Later that day, a similar incident happened in Madhya Pradesh&#8217;s Panna district.</p>

<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Three people, including a woman, lost their lives within a few hours due to poisonous liquor at Rampur Dabi Majre Manohra Pur village under Sangramgarh police station in Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. According to the information, the woman died in a local hospital while two youths died in Lucknow. It is being told that these four people had drunk liquor sold illegally on Saturday night. Apart from this, the condition of seven people is said to be critical.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Apart from Sunita (50) wife Jawaharlal Saroj, Vijay Kumar (40) son Ramsumer Saroj and Ramprasad (42) son Ramdev Saroj were first shown to a local doctor. Sunita was brought to the Community Health Center at around 9 o&#8217;clock at night if the condition did not improve. Where he died. Vijay Kumar died on his way to the hospital at around 12 pm. Ram Prasad also died in some time. Former village head Nanhe Lal Yadav has confirmed the deaths and said that poisonous alcohol is the reason.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Police President Sangramgarh Ashutosh Tripathi has confirmed the deaths due to poisonous liquor and has given information to the higher authorities. It has not been known from where the women and youths took liquor. The station in-charge says that the cause of death will be known only in the post-mortem.</p>
