As the attack of the former Soviet republic enters its 6th day, Russian soldiers are shooting guns and besieging Kharkiv and other important cities, according to a Ukrainian source.</p>
<p>According to Indian media sources, the student, named Naveen Shekharappa, was from the Haveri region of Karnataka&#8217;s southern state and attended medical university in Ukraine.</p>

<p>According to his housemate, the student died while looking to find his route out of Kharkiv. &#8220;He lived close to the governor&#8217;s residence and had been waiting in line for lunch.  Suddenly, an airstrike blasted the governor&#8217;s residence, killing him,&#8221; Pooja Praharaj, a student organizer in Kharkiv said.</p>

<p>Ukraine&#8217;s deputy foreign minister Yevgeny Yenin said the plane was kidnapped by &#8220;armed guys.&#8221; The jet was hijacked from Ukraine, he added, and it &#8220;flew into Iran with an unnamed group of passengers on board.&#8221;</p>
<p>He did not, however, provide any other details on the flight&#8217;s fate. Iran&#8217;s authorities denied that any hijacked airliner had landed in the nation a few hours later. Ukraine, too, denied Yenin&#8217;s claim that the jet had been hijacked.</p>
<p>Oleh Nikolenko, a spokesman for Ukraine&#8217;s foreign ministry, disputed that one of the country&#8217;s planes had been hijacked in Kabul.</p>
