He also told the Supreme Court that the administration is checking into their ongoing education, which was put on hold owing to the emergency.</p>
<p>The court was hearing a petition submitted by lawyer Vishal Tiwari, who requested immediate and efficient humanitarian procedures and preparations for the escape of trapped Indian people in Ukraine, especially students and families.</p>

Kherson is located in the south of Ukraine.</p>
<p>When hostilities in Ukraine rose, the Indian embassy in Kyiv launched a registration campaign for Indians in January, and by the end of the month, 20,000 Indians &#8211; largely students &#8211; had signed up. More than half the students were enrolled at colleges in eastern Ukraine, which borders Russia, according to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar. So far, this region has been the focus of the war.</p>
<p>Till now, 22,500 evacuated from Ukraine, among which some were in isolated pockets and some don&#8217;t want to return.</p>
