										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Tripura High Court ruled that the statewide administration&#8217;s assertion that it had reached 98 percent of the 45-plus age category and 80 percent of the state&#8217;s population with the very first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine was false and ordered it to give an explanation. As per the government&#8217;s declaration, the state has 26.86 lakh eligible persons over the age of 18 and 12.36 lakh people over the age of 45.</p>
<p>The court further noted that 14,36,595 doses were delivered to persons aged 45 and older, with 5,66,458 receiving second doses. This would imply that around 9 lakh persons received the first dosage, which does not equal 98 percent of the qualified 12.36 lakh population.</p>
