										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Finally, Nusrat Jahan broke her silence with Nikhil Jain&#8217;s split. Today, the TMC MP issued a statement stating their marriage with Nikhil is Turkish and not legitimate in India.</p>
<p>Being on foreign land, as per Turkish Marriage Regulation, ceremony is invalid. It was interfaith marriage, it requires validation under Special Marriage Act, which didn&#8217;t happen. As per Court of Law, it&#8217;s not marriage but relationship/live-in: Nusrat Jahan, TMC issues statement</p>
<p>She has asserted that her property was &#8216;illegally kept aside,&#8217; as were family jewellery and other valuables. She further said that her &#8216;funds&#8217; were misused without her knowing from several accounts.</p>
<p>Nusrat and Nikhil have been reporting difficulties for some time in their marriage. Nusrat has been said to be closer to SOS Kolkata, Yash Diesgupta, and recently they have been on a vacation to Rajasthan.</p>
