										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Less than a year after it was disclosed, One Direction star Liam Payne broke his engagement with the American model, Maya Henry. He verified the breakup at the podcast The Diary of a CEO, that during lock-down it happened.</p>
<p>Payne claimed in his &#8220;hurting others&#8221; he&#8217;s &#8216;disappointed&#8217; himself, and he &#8216;works&#8217; on his emotions. The two were initially caught together in 2019, before confirming their engagement in August 2020 during a series of public appearances.</p>
<p>Liam said to his podcast host Steven Bartlett: &#8220;I think that I am more disappointed in myself at this moment than anywhere else. I continue to damage others. This bothers me. It bothers me. I wasn&#8217;t very good at relationships and at this time I know what my pattern is in partnerships.&#8221;</p>
