<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Sushil Chandra have appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner. He will take over from April 13. He will succeed Sunil Arora. Let us know that the sources have informed on Sunday. Chandra have decided to become the next Chief Election Commissioner of the country.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to the tradition of appointing the most senior commissioner as the Chief Election Commissioner. It was believe that the government approved his name for the top post in the Election House.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph"> Now its order has formally issued. Chandra will take over on 13 April. Currently, outgoing CEC Sunil Arora is carrying out this responsibility. Chandra was appoint Election Commissioner on 14 February 2019. The Lok Sabha elections. He will relieve of this new post on 14 May 2022.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">Under his leadership, the Election Commission will conduct assembly elections in Goa, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. The tenure of the Goa, Manipur, Uttarakhand and Punjab Legislative Assemblies are complete on different dates in March next year.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The term of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly is coming to an end on May 14 next year. Prior joining the Election Commission, Chandra was the chairman of the Central Board of Direct Taxes.</p>
