<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Supreme Court will pronounce its order today on the issue of the new agricultural law implemented by the central government and the Andalon of farmers.  It is possible that the Supreme Court may set up a high-level committee headed by a former Chief Justice of the country with the intention of resolving this deadlock.  Earlier yesterday, a bench of Chief Justice SA Bobde, Justice AS Bopanna and Justice V Ramasubramanian had indicated during the hearing of the case that it could pass separate orders on issues related to agricultural laws and farmers&#8217; movements.  <br>    Later in this regard, the information has been uploaded on the website of the Supreme Court that it should be listed for order on January 12.  During the period, petitions raising the issue of the right of citizens to move freely were heard.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Supreme Court had slammed the Center for not finding any solution to the negotiations with the farmers and expressed great disappointment over the entire situation.  Along with this, the court also indicated that it could set up a committee under the chairmanship of a former Chief Justice, which could also include representatives of all the peasant unions of the country.<br>
   The Supreme Court, while refusing to give more time to the Central Government to find a acceptable solution to this deadlock, said that a lot of time has already been given to it.<br>
  The Supreme Court on Monday expressed concern over the situation of farmers staging a strike on the borders of Delhi in the harsh winter, fearing that if the movement against agricultural laws goes on for too long, it could become violent and cause loss of life and property. The court said, &#8220;We do not want anyone to have blood on our hands.&#8221; Also, Chief Justice SA Bobde asked the old farmers, women and children agitating against the agricultural laws in the wake of the winter and Kovid-19 epidemic. The bench said that it was concerned about the possibility of any kind of violence and loss of lives on the issue. &#8220;&#8221; We all have responsibility for this.  Even a small incident can provoke violence.  If anything goes wrong, we will all be responsible for it.</p>
