Sonu will lead the team of Special Olympics Bharat Athletes who will travel to Kazan to participate in the Special Olympics World Winter Games in January 2022.
He said: “I feel honoured to have this opportunity to be with our team in Russia for the Special Olympics World Winter Games. We will together encourage our athletes to give their best and cheer them on with such enthusiasm that the roar of support will echo back home in India as well.”

As per the report, the 7-year-old boy from Telangana’s Sangareddy became furious after watching a movie where Sonu Sood is shown to be hit by the hero. Angry that someone who saved the lives of millions was being hit, he broke the TV set into pieces.
Sonu Sood has been playing a good Samaritan since the Covid-induced lockdown first imposed in the country. He lent a helping hand to stranded migrant labourers in reaching home and also arranged for the treatment of poor and needy in various parts of the country.

Sonu captioned his post, “Venkatesh, this boy walked barefoot all the way from Hyderabad to Mumbai to meet me, despite me making efforts to arrange some sort of transportation for him to come here. He is truly inspiring and has immensely humbled me Ps. I, however, don’t want to encourage anyone to take the trouble of doing this, love you all.”
Sonu has been in the limelight because of his philanthropic work as he has been trying to help out as many people as possible amid the Covid-19 pandemic. He has garnered praises across India.
From delivering oxygen cylinders, helping the needy get proper medical attention to setting up oxygen plants, Sonu has been extending his support amid the pandemic. It has been written- Sonu Sood is appealing to save a hotel which is against MRTP, MMC Act. At the same time, he has not even taken any kind of license.
It has also been alleged that Sonu wants to earn money through this illegal construction. For this reason, he did not think it necessary to take a license and converted a residential building into a hotel. It is known that BMC is eyeing the 6-storey building in Juhu, which has been claimed that Sonu converted it into a hotel. It has been said that the actor had not taken any permission before converting the residential building into a hotel. At the same time, reports have also come to light where it has been said that a notice was sent to Sonu from BMC, but they ignored him. He still continued construction of that building. BMC has told that this whole controversy started only in January last year when the Lokayukta complained. At that time, it was said by the Lokayukta why action should not be taken against the BMC for not carrying out the responsibility properly. After that rebuke, BMC took stock of the building and issued a notice to Sonu in October.
Now on the basis of this argument, BMC wants that Sonu Sood should not be given any kind of relief. At the same time, there is a demand to take strong action against him. In this case, a big order can come out from the court on Wednesday. It will be clear whether Sonu Sood is given relief or the action of BMC is justified.
