]]> Sidharth Shukla’s untimely death has hit everyone hard. He passed away at 40 after suffering a massive heart attack on Thursday. He is survived by his mother and two sisters. According to hospital officials, he was brought dead to Mumbai’s Cooper hospital. The last rites of the actor will shortly be performed on Friday. The actor’s mortal remains remained at Cooper hospital on Thursday night. The body was handed over to the family at around 1 pm today.

Sidharth Shukla’s body reached Oshiwara crematorium where close friend Shehnaaz Kaur Gill and his family members are present. It is said that four people associated with Brahma Kumaris will do rituals according to their customs.

Shehnaaz Gill was seen crying inconsolably as she reached the crematorium for late actor’s last rites.

Sidharth Shukla’s mother and sister also reached the crematorium for his last rites.

Vikas Gupta, Asim Riaz and Aly Goni also reached the Oshiwara crematorium to attend the last rites.

Sidharth Shukla, who became a household name with his role of Shiv in ‘Balika Vadhu’. His sudden death has sent shockwaves through the industry and TV fandom. Many celebs including Rahul Vaidya, Himanshu Khurana, Gauahar Khan, Rashami Desai, Arti Singh, Gurmeet Chowdhry, Prince Narula were seen at his home.

Sidharth Shukla began his career as a model and made his acting debut with a lead role in the TV show “Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na”. He later appeared on shows such as “Jaane Pehchaane Se… Ye Ajnabbi”, “Love U Zindagi” but it was “Balika Vadhu” that made him famous.

]]> Hours after Sidharth Shukla’s death, one of his old tweets has resurfaced online. In it, he had written, “Death is not the greatest loss in life. The greatest loss is what dies inside of us while we live…..” The post was originally shared on October 24, 2017.

Sidharth was rushed to the Cooper hospital in Mumbai on Thursday morning but was declared dead on arrival. A senior doctor from the forensic department of the hospital told Hindustan Times that the initial report suggests that the cause of death was a heart attack. “We, however, won’t be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the post mortem,” the doctor said.

Emotional fans began quote-tweeting Sidharth’s old tweet. “No you are wrong at this point bhaiya #SiddharthShukla. Death is the greatest loss in life we felt this line pls come back. Still can’t digest that you left us,” one wrote. “True a part of me died today and it will never be the same,” another wrote. “Please, please come back,” a third wrote.

Having started his career as a model, Sidharth landed his debut show, Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na, in 2008. He shot to fame with Balika Vadhu.
