]]> Mumbai | Tensions within the Mahayuti alliance intensified when a confrontation broke out between Bharatiya Janata Party members and Shiv Sena workers in Thane, the political base of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

Police filed a Non Cognisable offence against a BJP leader and former corporator after Shiv Sena members claimed he attacked two of their office bearers.

The clash took shape in the Pachpakhadi locality on Thursday night, as Shiv Sena workers were celebrating and attributing the recent approval for registering homes under the Basic Services to the Urban Poor scheme to their efforts according to sources.

Sanjay Raut, a Shiv Sena MP, also warned the BJP that using central agencies like the ED and CBI beyond 2024 will backfire. Raut also attacked actor Kangana Ranaut for her recent views on India’s independence, claiming that the Centre should revoke all of her accolades.

 

Raut said: “Kangana has insulted the country. She has a habit of making such statements. Her statement has hurt the feelings of Indians. So Kangana should apologize to the country. All her national awards should be withdrawn. BJP should also clarify its position on Kanganaben’s statement.”

Meanwhile, in this series, the Bharatiya Janata Party created a ruckus about having some objectionable dialogues in the context of Hindu deities. In the dialogues of Lord Shankar and Narada, BJP started the ‘Tandava’ by mentioning Shri Ram in a satirical way. The Shiv Sena has never tolerated any derogatory dialogues in the context of Hindu deities.As much as Goswami has insulted the Hindustani soldiers and their martyrdom, even the Pakistanis would not have insulted them. Senior Congress leader and former Defense Minister AK Antony, along with Sushilkumar Shinde, Salman Khurshid and Ghulamby Azad, have also demanded an inquiry into the entire matter in the Journalist Council and take action under the ‘Government Secrecy Act’.

Describing the whole issue as treason, Congress leaders have also indicated to raise this issue in the Parliament session. The truth in this case should be brought out by the government.

]]> The Maha Vikas Aghadi coalition has won a big victory in the Gram Panchayat elections held in Maharashtra.The results of the Gram Panchayat elections in Maharashtra are now almost clear.  In the results, the ruling party Shiv Sena has emerged as the largest party, while the Bharatiya Janata Party has finished second.  In the results revealed till Tuesday morning, Shiv Sena has won a total of 3113 seats.
 Let us tell you that elections were held on 12,711 gram panchayat seats in 34 districts of Maharashtra, the results of which have been declared on the previous day.

 • BJP – 2632 

• NCP – 2400 

• Congress – 1823 

• MNS-36

 • Independents – 2344

Significantly, this was the first major political challenge before the coalition government of Maha Vikas Aghadi headed by Uddhav Thackeray.  In which, if we look at the results by combining Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena, then about seven thousand seats have been won.  However, the BJP claims that many independents supported by them have also won a big victory.Let us tell you that in the 12,711 gram panchayats in 34 districts in Maharashtra, the election held on Friday was 79 percent polling.  Elections in the state’s gram panchayats were due on 31 March 2020, but due to Corona, the election schedule was postponed to 17 March 2020.  After this, the Panchayat election was announced in December.
 The Sena mouthpiece Saamana has also been taunted over the results of the panchayat elections.  The Shiv Sena has written that the Bharatiya Janata Party should now understand that the BJP’s ED, CBI and IT departments in the state cannot lead to political victory.  The Shiv Sena wrote that the BJP constantly tried to discredit the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, but the public has once again made its stand clear through votes.
After the results of the election, every party has claimed its victory, the coalition says that Maha Vikas Aghadi has the largest number of seats.  Whereas BJP leaders say that their symbol and supported candidates have won the most.

The Rajput family’s lawyer says, “Siddharth Pithani is extremely dubious. He is a very intelligent criminal. What he did was, until FIR was registered by family he was talking to them regularly and trying to help them. The moment FIR was registered, he started helping Rhea.”


“The way he has behaved after registration of FIR, the way he is writing email to Rhea when she’s a named accused. Helping a named accused in this manner shows complicity between Rhea and him. It is only upon custodial interrogation that the real truth will come out.”
