<p class="wp-block-paragraph">The Maharashtra government reduces or removes the security of many opposition leaders, including the BJP.  Under this, the security of former Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and his relatives, former Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik and MNS chief Raj Thackeray has been cut.  Apart from this, the security given to many BJP leaders including State BJP President Chandrakant Patil was completely lifted.</p>



<p class="wp-block-paragraph">According to a notification issued by the Maharashtra government last January 8, the security of the Leader of Opposition and former CM Devendra Fadnavis has been reduced.  Also, the bullet proof vehicle given to them has also been withdrawn.  Fadnavis&#8217; wife Amrita and daughter Divija have also been reduced in the X category from Y Plus, cutting security.</p>
