Bihari, who had earlier assisted legendary filmmaker K Asif on Love And God and later worked closely with producer K C Bokadia, says Salman’s innocence and natural way of speaking stood out instantly. According to him, Sooraj Barjatya only needed to see that sincerity to take a leap of faith which eventually reshaped Hindi cinema.
Biwi Ho Toh Aisi starred Rekha in the lead role, a casting that many believed was impossible for a first time director. Bihari recalls approaching Rekha directly with the subject and explaining that it was the title role. Despite her usual reluctance to work with debut directors, Rekha agreed after learning about his association with K Asif. The film was completed and released within six months, defying industry doubts.

Bihari remembers seeing a young man walking near his office with a file in hand and deciding instantly that he was right for the role of Rekha’s brother in law. At that time, he did not even know that Salman was Salim Khan’s son. There were no auditions or vanity vans in those days, and even senior actors worked with minimal comforts.
During the shoot, Salman was inexperienced but eager to learn. Rekha and Farooque Shaikh supported him on set, helping him grow into the role. ]]>Bollywood actor Salman Khan has approached the Delhi High Court seeking legal protection of his personality rights. His petition is scheduled for hearing on Thursday before Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora.
In his plea, Khan has asked the court to restrain various social media networks and e-commerce platforms from using his name, photographs, likeness or any aspect of his persona without authorisation. He argues that such misuse violates his publicity and personality rights.
Personality rights, also known as publicity rights, allow individuals—particularly public figures—to control, safeguard and commercially benefit from the use of their name, image or likeness.
Khan is the latest in a growing list of celebrities who have sought similar protections. Recently, the Delhi High Court granted interim relief to several well-known figures, including Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Ajay Devgn, filmmaker Karan Johar, singer Kumar Sanu, actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, ‘Art of Living’ founder Ravi Shankar, journalist Sudhir Chaudhary and podcaster Raj Shamani.
Telugu actor NTR Junior has also filed a petition before the court seeking protection of his personality rights, and an order on his plea is still pending.

]]>Actors Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif resumed shooting for their upcoming outing Tiger 3 on Thursday. The actors are up for a physically challenging shoot that will push their bodies to the limit.
The shooting is taking place at the YRF Studios in Mumbai.
“The new schedule of Tiger 3 has started today in Yash Raj Films Studios. It is a closely guarded set and one can expect no picture to leak from here. Salman and Katrina’s fitness will be tested in this schedule as well as the extensive overseas schedule that is set to start from mid-August,” a source said.
The source added, “Salman teased his physique in Tiger 3 on his social media and it is evident that he is building the best body that he has ever showcased on screen. Katrina, on the other hand, has been keeping an extremely low profile with hardly any revelation of how good she is looking currently. There’s a reason for this also. She has worked like a beast to be her fittest best and people will have to wait to see her fittest best on-screen when Tiger 3 is set to release.”
