]]>Today, an official from the hospital informed that the 77-year-old actor was treated for the left ventricular failure with ischaemia.
The official said, “Saira Banu was treated for left ventricular failure with ischaemia and is out of crisis. She will probably be shifted out of the ICU tomorrow as conveyed by the treating consultant Dr. Nitin Gokhale.”
On Thursday, Saira Banu’s spokesperson and family friend Faisal Faaroqui had said that she might need a procedure for her left ventricular but the doctors would take a call.
He had said, “Saira Ji’s doctor Nitin Gokhale suspects that there could be an issue with her left ventricular, for which she will need to go through an angiography, but that’s not urgent. But we are going with what the doctor says. All said and done, Saira ji is stable and should be out of the hospital soon.”

]]>The 98-year-old screen icon was admitted in suburban Khar-based Hinduja Hospital, a non-COVID-19 facility, on Tuesday to address age-related “medical issues”.
Sahab is much better. We are still in the ICU. He is very stable and very well today. (Need) Prayers to get him out of here hale and hearty. Let us get out of the woods, we are still in the woods,” Saira Banu told PTI.
The 76-year-old veteran also thanked fans and well-wishers for their unending care and support for Dilip Kumar. According to a hospital source, Kumar’s breathlessness is also under control. However, he will continue to remain in the hospital for a day or two.
His breathlessness seems to be under control. He is still being kept under observation (in ICU) that is what the family wants. Looking at his age and all, they want to make sure he is problem free before he leaves from here,” a hospital source told PTI.
Dilip Kumar was admitted to the same hospital in June following episodes of breathlessness.

]]>The 98-year-old legendary actor’s wife and actress Saira Banu told ANI that he has been facing breathing issues for the past few days. According to the recent news, updated by his wife, the thespian is ‘stable’ and will be ‘discharged soon’.
After the actor complained of breathlessness, he was admitted in the Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.
She took to Dilip Kumar’s official Twitter handle and shared a note which read, “Past few days my beloved husband, Yousuf Khan, has been unwell and recuperating at a hospital in Mumbai. Through this note, I want to thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers and for all the love and affection. My husband, my kohinoor, Dilip Kumar Sahab’s health is stable and doctors have assured me that he should be discharged soon.”

On a closing note, the actress said, “I urge you to not believe in rumors. While I ask you to pray for Sahab’s I am praying that the Almighty keep all of you safe and healthy during this pandemic. Sincerely, Saira Banu Khan”
Earlier too, the actress requested fans to not believe in Whatsapp forwards. She had written, “Saab is stable. Thank you for your heart-felt duas and prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days. Insh’Allah.”

On the other hand, Dilip’s personal doctor Jalil Parkar when contacted said, ” he is better than yesterday, and his oxygen level is also good.”
He further added, “there is no breathlessness, and fluid in the lungs has decreased. We will re-access his health condition tomorrow before taking the call on any procedure for pleural aspiration with the consideration of his age. The decision will be jointly taken by me and Dr Nitin Gokhale.”
