<p>For three years, Tharoor&#8217;s counsel, prominent attorney Vikas Pahwa, and the state prosecutor, Atul Kumar Shrivastava, have argued over the charge in this high-stakes case that has taken many twists and turns.</p>
<p>This included the prosecutor&#8217;s request that the court charge Tharoor with murder, which caught Tharoor&#8217;s legal team off guard. <p>The discharge order was issued by a special MP/MLA court on Rouse Avenue, presided over by Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Sachin Gupta.</p>
<p>However, Magistrate Gupta ordered that charges be filed against AAP MLAs Amanatullah Khan and Prakash Jarwal. The alleged assault occurred between February 19 and 20, 2018, at Kejriwal&#8217;s apartment, where Prakash had been summoned for a meeting.</p>
<p>Prakash&#8217;s complaint resulted in the filing of a case. He said that AAP MLAs assaulted him.</p>
