With the nation adding 84,332 new cases, bringing the country&#8217;s total caseload to 2.93 crores. Active cases represent 3.68 percent of all illnesses.</p>
<p>India&#8217;s test positivity rate (the number of positive cases discovered for every 100 tests) is continuing to fall. It is below 5% for the sixth day in a row, at 4.39 percent.</p>
<p>The number of active cases has dropped by 40,981 in the previous 24 hours, bringing the total to less than 11 lakhs (10,80,690) after 63 days. As per the ministry, the nationwide COVID-19 retrieval rate has increased to 95.07 percent.</p>
