<p>According to a press release, the 340.8-kilometer six-lane highway connects Lucknow with eastern Uttar Pradesh, passing through Barabanki, Amethi, Sultanpur, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Azamgarh, Mau, and Ghazipu districts.</p>

<p>It asserted that as an access-controlled expressway, it would deliver benefits such as fuel savings, time savings, pollution management, and accident reduction.
