<p>Employees in the Punjab government who fail to take even the first dosage of the Covid vaccine for reasons other than medical may be forced to take a vacation from September 15. This was announced by chief minister Amarinder Singh on Friday as a move to protect the people of the state from the disease and to ensure that those who are vaccinated do not have to pay the price for those who aren&#8217;t.</p>

<p>The chief minister said vaccine effectiveness is obvious from the data being analyzed during a high-level virtual Covid review conference held on Friday.
