<p>Questions were also raised concerning the Congress&#8217;s rebirth, which some politicians present claimed could only happen if the party was &#8220;liberated from the Gandhis&#8217; leadership&#8217;s clutches,&#8221; according to insiders. The Gandhis were not in attendance during the event.</p>
