										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p dir="ltr">Calcutta University has waived the tuition fees for students of all the semesters of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The decision to waive the tuition fees is in response to the hardships and the financial constraints people are facing in view of the Covid pandemic. The university will now not take any fees including admission fees, tuition fees and examination fees for the academic year <a href="tel:202122">2021-22</a>.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The University of Calcutta has also decided to waive the fees that students had to pay while collecting mark sheets and grade sheets of the semester exams.</p>
<p dir="ltr">“This is for the information of all concerned that in view of the present pandemic situation, the University has waived off all fees like Admission fees, Tuition fees and Examination fees of the students (PG and University UG students) for the academic year <a href="tel:20212022">2021-2022</a> for different semesters and it is not required for the students to pay fees for collecting the Mark sheets/Grade sheets of different semester examinations,”</p>
<p dir="ltr">Calcutta University, this year, has been adjudged the best among all Indian universities, according to an Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) conducted by a global agency. Among all the universities and institutes, the University of Calcutta has secured the second position in the Shanghai Ranking- ARWU 2021, next only to the prestigious Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The 2021 ARWU released by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy is one of the premier and globally recognised rankings of higher educational institutions.</p>
<p dir="ltr">West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter to congratulate all teachers, administration staff, and students of the university.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The University of Delhi, or DU, will start the registrations for the postgraduate (PG) programmes tomorrow, July 26. Along with the PG programmes, the application window for Delhi University Entrance Test (DUET), PhD and MPhill programmes will also start from tomorrow and continue till August 21. For PG courses, students will be required to fill one registration form but have to pay separate fees if they are opting for more than one programme.</p>
<p>To make the DU admission process hassle-free, a portal for admissions will also be launched. The admission portal will facilitate the students seeking admission to the university to fill the admission forms, pay fees and check details without any problem from the comfort of their homes. The university will also organise webinars to help candidates during the admission procedure.</p>
<p>The number of DU courses for which entrance tests will be held this year has been increased from nine to 13. The four new courses for which entrances will be held from this year are Bachelor in Physiotherapy, Bachelor in Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Prosthetics and Orthotics, and Masters of Physiotherapy.</p>
<p>The dates for DUET for all the PG programmes, selected undergraduate programmes and MPhil and PhD programmes will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For non-NET students seeking admissions to PhD and MPhil programmes will have to appear for DUET 2021. All candidates applying for MPhil or PhD programmes will have to fill a common registration form.</p>
<p>The registration process for the undergraduate merit-based programmes has been scheduled between August 2 and August 31.</p>

<p>As per the university guidelines, all the applicants must posses high capability in the English language. All the courses will take place in English itself.</p>
<p><strong>Application Process:</strong></p>
<p>An Indian citizen should sumit fully completed application form and a SOP accompanying all the documents to admissions2021@nalandauniv.edu.in. The application form costs Rs. 500 each. After the fees is submitted, the transaction ID must be submitted to admissions office at the above mentioned detail.</p>
