<p>Between April 1, 2008, and March 21, 2011, Ram Binod Prasad Sinha was accused of cheating the government by investing public funds in his name and the names of his family members. According to the agency, the funds would be used to carry out government initiatives in the Khunti district under the MGNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act).</p>
