Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, declared the Centre’s commitment to transforming Jharkhand’s infrastructure landscape through a comprehensive network of expressways and economic corridors.</p>
<p data-start="700" data-end="779">Speaking at a public event in Garhwa, Gadkari outlined the ambitious roadmap:</p>

<p data-start="1265" data-end="1462">Highlighting progress, Gadkari revealed that <strong data-start="1310" data-end="1400">Jharkhand’s national highway network has grown from 2,600 km in 2014 to 4,470 km today</strong>, now covering all <strong data-start="1419" data-end="1448">19 aspirational districts</strong> in the state.</p>
<p data-start="1464" data-end="1716">At the event, the minister <strong data-start="1491" data-end="1532">inaugurated a 23-km four-lane highway</strong> from Shankha to Khajoori (₹1,130 crore) and <strong data-start="1577" data-end="1600">laid the foundation</strong> for the <strong data-start="1609" data-end="1652">four-laning of a 32-km stretch of NH-39</strong> from the Chhattisgarh–Jharkhand border to Gumla (₹1,330 crore).</p>
<p data-start="1464" data-end="1716"><strong>“This is not just infrastructure building—this is a vision to power Jharkhand’s growth and connectivity with neighbouring states like Bihar and Chhattisgarh,”</strong> highlighted Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari</p>

<p>Union ministers Rajnath Singh and Nitin Gadkari today inaugurated the country&#8217;s first emergency landing strip for IAF planes, which was created on a national highway in Rajasthan. The strip in Barmer, which took 19 months to construct, will be utilized for IAF emergency landings. Mr. Gadkari, on the other hand, guaranteed that such landing strips would be developed in a matter of days in the future.</p>

<p>A mock emergency landing was made on the landing strip at the Satta-Gandhav section on National Highway 925 by an Indian Air Force Hercules C-130J plane carrying the two ministers and Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Union Minister Nitin Gadkari suggested that more pharma companies needs to be given permission for the production of Covid-19 vaccine.  He made the suggestion in view of the shortage of the  vaccine and to increase production.</p>
<p>Mr. Gadkari said  while addressing virtually to the Vice Chancellors of Universities that he will also request Prime Minister Narendra Modi to bring a law that would allow more pharma companies to manufacture the life-saving vaccine.</p>
<p>He said,&#8221;If the demand of vaccine is more than its supply then it creates a problem. So, instead of one company, 10 more companies should be allowed to make vaccines by paying 10 per cent royalty to the original patent holder of the vaccine&#8221;.</p>
<p>At the recent time, there are only two companies that are producing the vaccine- Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute of India namely Covaxin and Covishield respectively.</p>
