According to Police Commissioner Keechant L. Sewell, the guy, who was carrying a work vest, put on a protective mask before firing rounds that injured persons on the train and the adjoining platform at roughly 8:24 a.m. as the train rolled into the 36th Street Station in the Sunset Park area.</p>
<p>Five people were in critically injured, according to the Fire Department, although none of them had sustained life-threatening wounds. As New York City battles to recuperate from the epidemic, the violent incident occurred amid an increased fear of criminality.</p>
