										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Supreme Court delayed hearings on a series of public interest litigations(PIL) seeking an investigation into accusations of government agencies snooping using NSO&#8217;s Pegasus surveillance software on Tuesday.</p>
<p>The Supreme Court advised petitioners not to hold a parallel debate on social issues while adjourning the session. The Supreme Court was considering a slew of petitions, including one from the Editors Guild of India, which sought an independent investigation into the alleged Pegasus snooping case.</p>
<p>According to an international media consortium, over 300 verified Indian mobile phone numbers were on a list of potential targets for monitoring using Israeli firm NSO&#8217;s Pegasus spyware.</p>

<p>On Tuesday, Kaluchak and Kunjwani regions were sighted by a drone. Earlier on Monday, the army stated that it had seen drones flying over military posts in Kaluchak and Ratnuchak and fired them, thereby causing them to float away.</p>
